Dear everyone,

There's a good chance you've heard the uproar that's all over LiveJournal recently. If you haven't, it has to do with LJ's latest update, called "release 88."

• Also: "Sorry, everyone who trusted Livejournal ... NOW EVERY COMMENT MADE IN YOUR JOURNAL BY SOMEONE WHO DELETED THEIR LJ OVER TWO YEARS AGO IS GONE." Seriously, back up your journals! I don't care how you do it—there are lots of ways to do it—but it's really in your best interest to do so.

Anyway, in light of these...developments, pokemon_bigbang will be hosted on Dreamwidth from now on. Its account there is pokemon_bigbang (or here). We would love it if you joined us there for our next round. (Sign-ups aren't for a few months yet, but the early bird gets the worm, as they say!)

Currently, anyone can make a dreamwidth account until the end of the year. Take advantage of it! And if, at any point in the future, you decide that you'd like a dreamwidth invite code, chrysa and I are in the process of making a wide-scale invite code for everyone to use, as described here.

We're not planning to import any masterlists from the 2011 round. If you'd like to cross-post your 2011 masterlist to pokemon_bigbang, you're more than welcome to, but that's up to you—it's your work, not ours.
